Membership Information

The Petersburg Fire Department is always looking for new volunteers. If you have firefighting experience or no experience at all we will still allow you to apply for membership. We usually add new members in pairs. We feel it is easier to train in pairs than single person training. Once awarded membership on the fire department you will be assigned a mentor to assist you in your needs as a fireman. Petersburg Fire Department will pay for all required training and some members even take the next step and make a career out of the fire service. Petersburg Fire Department is a paid per call department. Each firefighter receives sixteen dollars per fire emergency call. If you are interested in joining please email Chief Pat Rebbe. Chief Rebbe serves as membership coordinator.
